If you registered for IntroN, you will have received an e-mail with the information. Didn’t get it? Let us know (email@example.com). The most important information:
You have to be at Utrecht Centraal Station at 10:00. We leave by bus at 10:45 so make sure to be there on time so we can check you in. Worried that you cannot be there on time? Also let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org) and take a train earlier.
It looks like it’s going to rain during the weekend so prepare for this.
Thinking about coming?
Have you made your choice? Are you sure you would like to study Nanobiology and did you enroll? Welcome! Every year, a committee of S.V.N.B. Hooke organises the Introduction weekend for Nanobiology (IntroN) from 16-18 August, directly before the OWee and EurekaWeek.
During this weekend you get to know all your classmates. The IntroN committee begins in March already with the organisation to make sure that there are enough fun activities throughout the weekend. This way you are sure to have met all the other students in your year before the first day of lectures.
Additionally, mentorgroups will be formed during this weekend. With this group of peers and two older students as mentors, you will walk the introduction week of Delft, the OWee. After that you will spend time with this group in the first months of your study. If you don’t go to the weekend you will be assigned a group at the first day of the academic year.
Besides all your classmates, you will also get to know the other Nanobiology students. These students have already been studying for a year or more and can tell you all about life as a Nanobiology student. They will also help you get to know the study association. The different activities and committees of Hooke will be introduced to you.
All in all, by attending this weekend you will arrive well-prepared on your first day as a student! More information and application possibilities will be announced soon. We hope to be able to welcome you all there! You can easily register for the weekend here via the website of the OWee, regardless of whether you’re going to the OWee.
