On the 23rd of March the measures of the Dutch government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus got tightened. In consultation with the TU Delft, we have therefore decided to cancel all physical Hooke activities up to the 1st of June until further notice. These activities again also include committee meetings, brainstorm evenings, and the like. We urge you all to follow the advice of the RIVM and keep 1.5 meter distance from others and stay home when you can.
Cancelled events in the coming period are:
– Tuesday drinks
– Course Evaluations
– Physical Workshops
– Physical Lunchlectures
– Alumni Day
– Physical General Members Assemblies
– Family Day
– World Record Attempt
– Physical Symposium
– Multiple Day Excursion
– All other lustrumweek activities
The hub will also be closed until June 1st. Stay tuned for online alternatives!
The executive board of the TU Delft stated that it is not yet clear what the measures of the government will mean for the rest of the academic year at TU Delft. We have no information on whether the events after June 1st can continue, but we are watching the development of this situation closely. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via email@example.com. We will keep you up to date.
