The first lunch lecture of 2018 is just around the corner. On tuesday the 9th of january dr. van Zon from the Quantitative Developmental Biology group at AMOLF research institute will come talk about his research on the development of C. elegans. They research how development is a robust process, even though the underlying mechanisms, such as gene expression, are often highly stochastic. To study this they use a quantitative, physics-inspired approach.
So do you want to stimulate your brain after two weeks of christmas holiday or are you just curious why you have to learn so many proteins by heart in the second year Evo-Devo course? Come join us at the lunch lecture. Free lunch will be available.
