It’s finally time for our next excursion! On December the 21st we will gather between 13:30 and 13:45 at the south entrance of TNW (building 58). Then, we’ll cross the street to go and visit Delmic. Delmic is a company specialized in manufacturing light- and electron microscopes, and the software they operate on. It started when the Charged Particle Optics group at the TU Delft created the SECOM, an integrated fluorescence and scanning electron microscope. Since then they have expanded and now they also manufacture for example the SPARC and Delphi systems.
During the excursion we will have a tour through the building and a small presentation, after which we will try to solve a case study. After that we will have a drink. The excursion will end at around 5 pm.
