Wednesday May 2nd a group of students will visit Applikon Biotechnology in the afternoon. Applikon is one of the companies closests to TNW Applied Sciences. They develop advanced bioreactor systems. These systems are used in the Pharmaceutical industry for the production of, among others, vaccines, antibodies and tissues. They also produce for example bio-plastics and enzymes for the Industrial biotechnology. These bioreactors are used at different scales: from laboratories to factories.
Research and devolpment of the bioreactors takes place in Delft. During the excursion we will learn more about bioreactors, visit the production facility and work on a mini-case. So if you want to learn more about career possibilities after the master or about internships at Applikon, join the excursion. We will visit Applikon from 13:30 until 18:00. You can sign up here until Monday April 30. If there is a large number of participants, the registration may close before this date.
